Which hat?
A curved brim keeps the sun off your face. Our fishing hat is a breathable Taslon cap with a curved brim and an adjustable size, in eight colours. For more shade use the umbrella hat: 69 cm across when open, 40 cm folded, steel ribs, hands-free.
What does a neck gaiter do?
It covers the neck and lower face. Ours is ice silk, one size, in eight colours. The listing notes that Asian sizes can run small, so a looser fit is likely.
Do I need fishing gloves?
Gloves protect the fingers that handle line and fish, and give grip on a wet rod. We sell a single-finger glove in non-slip diving cloth with a wrist strap, one size, and a two-finger glove with a diving cloth back and microfibre palm, sold singly for the left or right hand.
What else should I carry?
A lip grip and pliers for handling fish, and a tackle box. Sun protection is only part of the kit; carry water too.
