Which soft plastic shape should I start with?

A pack of simple soft baits in one colour is the cheapest way to try several rigs. Our 7 cm baits come ten to a pack at 2 g each, and our 6 cm T-tail lures come twenty to a pack at 1.4 g each. Both rig on a jig head or a plain hook.

What is the difference between a grub and a paddle tail?

A grub has a thin curling tail that flutters on a slow retrieve or a fall; a paddle tail has a flat tail that kicks when pulled. Our curly tail grubs are 1.6 g and 6 or 9 cm unfolded. Our 10 cm soft swimbaits are 6 g each with a slip mechanism in the body, as the listing describes, in packs of 5 or 10.

When would I use a craw or a spider?

Craw and spider shapes have legs and claws that move with the smallest pull, so they suit slow fishing along the bottom or around cover. Our craw lures are about 8 cm, four to a bag, in nine colours. Our spider lure is 8 cm and 7 g with a hook already fitted, in five colours or a pack of five.

How do I rig a soft plastic?

On a jig head, push the hook point into the nose, run it through the body and bring it out the back so the bait hangs straight. On a plain hook you can rig it the same way or weedless, with the point tucked back into the body. Our jig heads come in 3.5 to 10 g.
